Known as one of the most sought-after communities in the San Fernando Valley, The Q Topanga offers a new segment in Los Angeles living, blending inspiring architecture, innovative technology, and best-in-class amenities.
Client Vision:
“The Q Topanga is a masterpiece, a vision that became a reality,” said Shawn Evenhaim, founder and CEO of California Home Builders. “This vision started years ago with my desire to change the living experience of apartment residents in the valley and to give them a lifestyle that will exceed their expectations. We created an urban, luxury community for individuals who appreciate a home that is high-quality and has smart features, and a community where style and design meet function.”
Project Details:
Jon Wehan worked to bring the perfect balance of sophisticated, connected, and smart living to The Q Topanga with ideas and concepts focusing on creating unique and impactful lighting solutions.
Lobby Chandeliers:
Ideoli created a custom Lobby Chandelier for the 3-story high ceiling common area known as the QUBE. This chandelier features over 30 individual LED strands hanging at varying heights, creating a stunning visual centerpiece. The 150W chandelier glows with 12,000 lumens, providing a beautiful accent to the high ceilings and framing the commissioned artwork on the expansive fireplace.
Surface Mount Fixtures:
To address installation challenges in the residential entryways, Ideoli’s LED Flush Cube fixtures were used. These compact 9W LED square cubes in a matte black finish with a gold interior were designed for easy installation and provided the ideal output for residential hallways.
LED Linear Fixtures: Ideoli’s LED linear fixtures illuminated the co-working spaces, multi-story fitness center, and VIP drop-off area. These energy-efficient luminaires featured a sleek design with a matte black finish and recessed louver, reducing glare and providing a modern touch.
Impact:
The custom lighting solutions provided by Ideoli transformed The Q Topanga into a visually captivating and functional luxury community. The innovative lighting designs enhanced the overall ambiance and resident experience, aligning with the high standards of California Home Builders. This project demonstrated Ideoli’s ability to deliver tailored lighting solutions that meet client needs and exceed performance expectations, solidifying their reputation as a top-tier partner in luxury residential development.
