American Eagle Outfitters is a renowned American clothing and accessories retailer. With a strong presence in the industry, American Eagle offers a diverse range of products including jeans, polo shirts, graphic T-shirts, boxers, outerwear, and swimwear. Their target audience primarily consists of male and female university and high school students. However, the brand also resonates with older adults. What sets American Eagle Outfitters apart from competitors is their commitment to authenticity, positivity, and community inspiration. These values drive their brand and establish a unique identity within the retail landscape.
Ideoli collaborated with American Eagle Outfitters to create a unique lighting concept for their industrial-themed store. The challenge was to seamlessly integrate the lighting into the ceiling from the main display featuring their iconic jeans collection. Ideoli’s team designed a custom central industrial grid to elegantly hold the lighting elements and meet this vision. The grid served as a foundation for the pendant lights and industrial tubes. Additionally, they each had a linear light source, effectively illuminating the space and maintaining a clean, industrial ambiance.
Taking their innovative approach further, Ideoli repurposed some of the empty tubes. Consequently, they created simple yet captivating industrial-looking decorative light fixtures. These fixtures creatively adorned themselves with purely decorative elements made from American Eagle Outfitters’ own denim material—the very denim used to craft their renowned jeans. The result was an enchanting lighting ensemble that perfectly complemented the store’s aesthetic, offering a memorable shopping experience for customers and emphasizing Ideoli’s commitment to creating tailored solutions that exceed client expectations.
