WeWork is a global leader in flexible workspace solutions, offering coworking spaces, private offices, and virtual offices for individuals and businesses.
As an international commercial office space was on the search for a compact cylinder lighting design that would be adaptable to 80% of all new locations around the world. The client’s goal was to achieve architectural-grade quality, aesthetics, and light output at a competitive price that would help meet budgets for new projects worldwide. Ideoli strategized and created the LED cylinder light fixture – 5 -inch that was adopted into a majority of new commercial office space buildings in North America and other countries.
The client hoped to create a lighting product that would fit into any of its various designs, no matter the location. They were unwilling to sacrifice top-quality output and wanted to remain at a very competitive price point, pushing Ideoli to get creative with the design components. Ultimately, since many of the client’s buildings were still in early developmental stages, it was unsure what type of installation options would be needed at a later time. Ideoli created the LED cylinder light fixture – 5 inch with its proprietary VAZI TECH technology, allowing for field-configurable mounting of either surface mount or pendant mount installation with the same fixture.
Once Ideoli designed and developed the product for the international commercial office space, they were also tasked with an aggressive timeline to assertively certify the LED cylinder light fixture – 5 inch across more than 30 international markets. Since many of Ideoli’s products are already country-certified, they were able to navigate through this process with ease and expertise. Additionally, Ideoli needed to ensure that their teams were prepared for the upcoming production runs of more than 20,000 units a month. Altogether, Ideoli was able to certify the product and deliver it to the client on time and within budget.
