Ideoli was engaged by a national co-working space client to design and develop a customized LED light fixture to fill a communal space. Faced with many structural and logistical constraints, the team took to the drawing board to embrace the space’s limitations and use the elements to their advantage. Ultimately, Ideoli created a truly custom LED light fixture chandelier incorporating the space’s cement beams by linking them together to create a breathtaking statement piece.

The End-to-End LED Chandelier design features fixtures that mimic traditional salt mine units, glass casings that are connected by black metal bases and rods along the ceiling, plus the latest LED chip and driver technology. The final product encompasses connected rods that create a grid layout and industrial look, captivating any visitor’s attention. This distinct design is the perfect focal piece for a variety of commercial and retail spaces, offering great lighting for large rooms.

CREATE A FIXTURE THAT EMBODIES EXISTING SPACE: Based on the open ceiling with cement beams, Ideoli wanted to take what most would view as limitations and use these elements to the fixture’s advantage. The beams were used to help connect the light fixture from end-to-end, giving this beautiful piece its name. The cement beams also inspired the design team to embrace an industrial look for this customized piece, serving as the chandelier’s base and ultimately invigorating the overall space.

ACHIEVE UNIFORMITY AND BRIGHTNESS IN COMMUNAL AREA: The client challenged Ideoli to brighten the communal area and make it a space where people would want to come together. The original cement beams left a cold, industrial feel to the space and Ideoli knew that with the proper design they could invigorate the experience for end users. By combining various elements and materials, the chandelier offers an inviting focal point for all to enjoy.
