Ideoli was provided a hand-drawn sketch from the client of a diamond-fixture concept to create for its new store design in Orlando, Florida. After months of designs and revisions, our design and prototype were selected over those of a dozen other vendors. We created a 6-foot, 250-pound, truly custom LED diamond chandelier fixture that hangs prominently in the entrance of this nationally recognized jewelry store.
With a custom design, imported quality materials and an advanced LED color-changing system, the LED diamond chandelier fixture helped drive more attention to the jewelry store, generate interest from potential customers and increase overall store revenue. With the success of this location, we were tasked to create additional diamond chandeliers for this jewelry retailer’s locations across the country.
CREATE AN LED DIAMOND FIXTURE THAT MIMICS 100% OF THE 58 FACETS OF A GIA-CUT DIAMOND: Two-step design: The inside of the diamond is edged in polished stainless steel that creates the appearance of 58 facets found on a real Gemological Institute of America (GIA) diamond. For the exterior frame of the diamond, clear acrylic panels were used so people can see through the diamond.
ACHIEVE THE SPARKLE AND SHINE OF A REAL DIAMOND FROM MULTIPLE ANGLES: The sparkle for the fixture was created through a center core in the diamond clad in highly reflective aluminum panels imported from Germany. LED lighting technology was installed in the girdle of the diamond, pointing inward so it couldn’t be seen visually, and reflected on the core to create a reflective sparkle.
PROVIDE SAFE TRANSPORTATION AND INSTALLATION OF THIS HIGHLY CUSTOM DIAMOND FIXTURE: Custom crates were designed to ship the fixture in an upright position, floating within the crate. Engineers, architects and designers helped make the actual installation of the diamond fixture easy. It was installed within a few hours.
