Ideoli was tasked with helping the client improve the shopping experience for its consumers in its dressing room. Understanding that each sale happens in the dressing rooms, this high-profile yoga brand wanted to enhance how the consumers look and feel wearing yoga and athletic apparel in front of a properly lighted mirror.

With a custom lighting technology and several tests with the distribution partner and the client, we developed an LED-backlit mirror that helped consumers look and feel confident wearing the client’s clothes, eliminating awkward shadows from previous poor lighting in the dressing rooms. We retrofitted several locations across the United States and Canada, helping increase store revenue.

CREATE A NEW LIGHTED-MIRROR SOLUTION IN THE DRESSING ROOMS TO REPLACE THE EXISTING LIGHTING: Working with our distribution partner, we designed and prototyped several samples with various-sized mirrors, and varied lighting specs and arrangements – working with the client with full-scale mockups at its facilities and in-store locations.

USE THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY WITH THE HIGHEST-QUALITY LIGHTING POSSIBLE: A full-length, custom mirror was developed with high lumen output coming from the front of the mirror, facing the consumer. Ultra-white glass was used to eliminate the green hue often seen in mirrors, and a very high (90+) color rendering index (CRI) was used to emphasize the true colors in the clothing. The solution also included fully dimmable drivers.

KEEP PRODUCT COSTS LOW, WHILE DELIVERING THE BEST QUALITY POSSIBLE: With proper planning, insight into forecast schedules and economies of scale in freight and warehousing, we were able to work with the distribution partner to achieve all financial goals.
