Chris Hartswick is the Chief Product Officer and Co-Founder of Ideoli Group, a custom-decorative lighting company with locations worldwide. Based in the New York office, Chris focuses on the product and engineering side of the company, overseeing manufacturing, custom design services, and client support. With a background in architecture and a master’s degree in Lighting from the Lighting Research Center at RPI, Chris plays a pivotal role in ensuring Ideoli remains at the forefront of the industry.

Throughout his time at Ideoli Group, Chris has been involved in several notable projects that highlight the company’s commitment to innovation and efficiency. One such achievement was successfully completing the full design, prototype, and production process in just five weeks, providing a last-minute lighting solution for a client in need. Additionally, Chris and his team have obtained certifications and distributed products to locations on six continents, establishing Ideoli as a global leader in decorative lighting. Furthermore, their expertise in lighting layouts and design has made them a trusted resource for clients seeking to develop brand standards for their new locations.

Prior to joining Ideoli Group, Chris gained valuable experience abroad, building a robust manufacturing network and being part of a multi-company merger that consolidated manufacturing and product design. He was also involved in an early LED start-up that was acquired and later went public on the NYSE. Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time outdoors gardening, hiking, and engaging in DIY projects around his home.

Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from RPI and a master’s degree in Lighting from the Lighting Research Center at RPI. With his extensive background in both architecture and lighting, Chris brings a unique perspective to his role at Ideoli Group, contributing to the company’s ongoing success and reputation as a cutting-edge decorative lighting company.
