Georgios Mavridis is a product designer at Ideoli Group, a custom-decorative lighting company with locations worldwide. Born in Kavala, Greece, Georgios currently resides in Thessaloniki, Greece, and works out of the office there. With a focus on creating cutting-edge designs, Georgios plays a crucial role in helping Ideoli Group maintain its position as a leader in the decorative lighting industry.

Georgios specializes in developing product designs that are tailored to meet the specific requirements and desires of clients. He carefully considers the limitations, regulations, and specifications provided by the factory or manufacturers involved in the production process. By incorporating these factors, Georgios ensures that the final designs are not only visually stunning but also feasible for production.

One notable project that Georgios takes pride in is the Block 22 project in Canada. This project exemplified his ability to deliver innovative and captivating lighting designs that exceeded client expectations. Prior to joining Ideoli Group, Georgios was involved in the anastylosis of the proskenion of the ancient theater of Limenas in Thassos island, a remarkable accomplishment that showcased his passion for preserving cultural heritage.

Outside of work, Georgios enjoys indulging in photography and going on long walks with his beloved dog, Peanut. These activities allow him to unwind and find inspiration in the beauty of the world around him. Georgios holds a Diploma in architecture from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, and further pursued his education with an MSc in “Protection, Conservation, and Restoration of Cultural Monuments” from the same institution. His educational background has equipped him with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in his role as a product designer at Ideoli Group.
