Ideoli’s receives 2019 good design award for LED ring chandelier
Known as a company and client favorite, Ideoli’s customized one-of-a-kind LED ring chandelier for a retailer’s flagship store in Rockefeller Center in New York City was recently recognized for its beauty. Nestled at the heart of one of New York’s most visited tourist locations, the retail store has become a go-to attraction in Rockefeller Center. Recently, the LED ring chandelier was awarded with the 2019 GOOD DESIGN® Award from The Chicago Athenaeum.
The Chicago Athenaeum focuses on the art of design in all areas of the discipline: architecture, industrial and product design, graphics, landscape architecture, and urban planning. Founded in 1950, GOOD DESIGN® is the world’s most prestigious, recognized, and oldest Design Awards program organized annually by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in cooperation with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies. For 2019, products and graphic designs were selected and awarded for a range of different categories including new electronics, lighting, tools, packaging and more. Ideoli was among the winners for its customized creation of the LED ring chandelier.
Inspired by the demands of their clients worldwide, Ideoli was thrilled and honored to be tasked with designing, producing and installing this specialized showcase piece for American Girl.
