At Ideoli, we don’t let little things like time or distance get in the way of meeting with clients. No matter where our clients are, we’ll find our way to them. Recently, Ideoli Co-founder George made what for him is a pretty typical trip to see some clients. In just 72-hours, he went from Los Angeles to Europe to the Middle East. It was a big journey with multiple stops, a trip that was jam-packed with client meetings but George took it all in stride. After all, whether it’s meeting in their office or taking on-site tours of their stores and hotels, visiting clients around the world is the best way to see Ideoli’s latest installations. And perhaps even more importantly, it’s a chance to see how our clients are reacting to what we’re doing. Nurturing and maintaining great relationships with our clients is something Ideoli takes very seriously. We are constantly setting the bar higher when it comes to showing them how important they are to us. That’s why we don’t hesitate to hop on a plane and travel half way around the world and back again in 72-hours. It’s another way to support our clients and strengthen our commitment to learning how we can continue to invigorate their spaces. At Ideoli, we strive to connect globally with each and every one of our clients. We love exploring and navigating new cities and different cultures. No matter what part of the world our client is in, we’ll get there. Our bags are always packed, and in less than a day, we can travel to wherever we’re needed. No trip is too big, too far or too quick for Ideoli. See you on the road at our next destination! We, at Ideoli had a successful meeting today with a very important client. We displayed our product prototypes to a team of designers and specifiers. And we’ve just got to say, that we impressed the $#*% out of our clients! Here’s how the meeting went: George Stroumboulis, CEO, Co-founder explained, “We just finished a fantastic meeting – in our opinion, at least. They’re always fantastic. We displayed about 7 different prototypes to a very large client here in New York. The feedback was actually fantastic with all the planning building up to this 45-minute meeting. What are your thoughts in general?” “I think it was great,” Chris Hartswick, CPO, Co-founder responds. You know a lot of times we spend so much effort on obviously the product but the details of – how are we going to package it, what are we going to show them, what is the room going to be like, there’s is a lot of guessing we have to do. But when it all comes together and we’re able to have such a successful meeting like that, it feels good. It’s exciting.” “Absolutely! Absolutely!” Stroumboulis exclaims. He then adds, “Getting in front of the client and being able to discuss with them in person, with our supporting parties that got us there, and really understanding their construction needs, their schedules and what their planning over the next 6-12 months, really puts it into perspective on what we’re really trying to do.” Stroumboulis explains the “Next steps are essentially rolling into full production on several of these projects which is always the goal. So from start to finish, we’re looking at 65-days when we were first engaged on this portfolio of products. This just shows our capabilities and how quickly we can turn things around from concept to installation.” Hartswick then adds, “I think it’s so important to note the meeting itself too. Getting that meeting, getting the entire design team in the room with us. It’s so difficult through emails and phone calls to get everyone on the same page to make it clear and make what’s known. Just that 30-45-minute meeting now it’s straights forward, we all know what’s to be done and what’s coming up. I feel that there is a weight off everyone’s shoulders” Hartswick summarized the client’s response, “The customer is much more confident in our capabilities. Obviously seeing the product makes them realize exactly what they are going to be getting from us – the quality, the timing, everything. These meetings are so important.” There were a lot of moving parts to this successful meeting. From displayed prototypes, sharing product details and a timeline – Ideoli showed how it’s done. At Ideoli, we have some very interesting clients. We asked esteemed dermatologist and Ideoli lighting client, Dr. Bobby Awadalla, to discuss the importance of lighting and working with us Here is what Dr. Bobby had to share: “We contacted Ideoli for a solution. We said we need nice even lighting. A bright white light that can give us the ability to do a skin exam without having to rely on flashlights or dermatoscopes,” says Dr. Bobby. Lighting truly makes a space, so we asked Dr. Bobby how important is lighting in your exam rooms? “When you have too bright a light, it kind of white washes the skin so it makes exams really difficult. When you have too dim a light, it does the reverse. You can’t really see the shadows that created by certain lesions. And so, you really just need that perfect amount of light that gives you a perfect skin exam. They really found that balance and allow us to do skin exams much more comfortably and with a lot more confidence,” says Dr. Bobby. This is a great example of how we partner with leaders in their own space to customize lighting products for them. Contact Ideoli to see how we can invigorate your space.

With the unprecedented COVID-19 conditions our world is facing right now, all industries are being impacted especially the retail industry. A recent online survey conducted by the Chain Store Age from March 19-22 asked retailers how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting businesses. The results determined that 39% responded it’s had a negative impact on sales. With a combined 38% responded the coronavirus has been a “goldmine” (18%) or created an increase in sales (20%). Here are additional insights and effects from the survey results: COVID-19 IS HITTING SOME RETAILERS WHERE IT HURTS Sales is the backbone of the retail industry. From communication with customers, an online presence, brand awareness, managing staff and keeping inventory, without selling products, retailers will not succeed. And with consumers ‘shelter in place’ demand creates a decrease in shoppers’ actions. DIGITAL SALES AREN’T ALWAYS MAKING UP FOR LOST BRICK-AND-MORTAR SALES Consumers are shopping online more since they are not able to actually go to the stores due to the closings from the virus. The survey noted that four in 10 respondents stated the pandemic is having a decrease effect on sales as consumers are delaying or buying less items than normal. SOME RETAILERS ARE STEALING MARKET SHARE There are certain retailers like Amazon, grocery stores, pharmacies, discount and dollar store chains that have increased hiring. Amazon has to concentrate on household fulfillment items while large chains like Target and Walmart are limiting store hours to stock shelves. There are certain retailers especially selling food and household items that are already seeing increased sales from COVID-19. WHAT YOU CAN DO Retailers feeling the effects of decreased sales due to the virus need to be more adaptable for consumers. Since consumers will not be brick-and-mortar shopping, retailers need to offer alternative omnichannel options like curbside pickup, drive-thru pickup, and on-demand delivery. There are multiple third party platforms that can assist retailers help or improve omnichannel sales options. Since retailers are not able to the determine the longevity of the pandemic, they can handle their response to consumers. Facebook-f Linkedin-in Tumblr Envelope

A: Ideoli is a custom-interiors specialist that creates vibrant products for its progressive partners located in markets around the world. We are experts in the design, prototyping and manufacturing of lighting fixtures, furnishing elements and showcase pieces, and adopting them to market-specific conditions quickly. Ideoli has quickly become a go-to leader in the custom development of products for various client types looking to expand and implement cutting-edge technology lighting products and other elements. Q: How was your company founded? A: Ideoli was founded in 2014 by George Stroumboulis and Chris Hartswick in New York City. Both George and Chris worked together previously and were part of a LED lighting company startup. That startup experienced tremendous growth within a few short years and was later acquired and went public on the New York Stock Exchange. Now working for a larger corporation, both guys knew it was time to start their own company. With an international footprint, they knew to be successful, they had to tap into markets outside of the United States quickly, during the initial stages of their company’s infancy. Both George and Chris complement each other in their personalities, skillset, craziness and drive to be the best at what they do, while having fun along the way. Which is evident with the team they have established and the travels around this world. Q: What types of services/products do you offer to your clients? A: Through an invigorated and integrated design and manufacturing approach, Ideoli creates the highest quality products that are installed in retail, restaurant, hospitality, commercial and industrial environments across the world. We design and produce lighting fixtures, furnishing elements, showcase pieces and also assist with the sourcing of products when necessary. – Lighting Fixtures: we fabricate custom lighting fixtures that are designed by lighting experts and feature the latest LED lighting and driver technologies on the market. We can create for any application imaginable and on any scale—large or small. – Furnishing Elements: we develop the highest-quality furniture and fixtures for retail and restaurant environments. Depending on the requirements, we craft elements needed to bring the experience to life. – Showcase Pieces: we conceptualize the most magnificent statement pieces for those high-profile applications. Whether you require a single fixture or a few elements for a flagship opportunity, we can drive the long and creative process with all parties. – Sourced Products: we are procurement collaborators when our clients need to buy better or seek items already existing on the market. We aid our countless international partners when customization is not required. When engaged, we own the process and work with existing partners to deliver products per specifications. Q: Who are your clients and what are some of the key challenges you’re helping them solve? A: Our clients include reputable global brands in the retail, restaurant, hospitality, commercial and industrial industries. We work with companies such as Hilton, American Girl, WeWork, Carls Jr., California Pizza Kitchen and dozens of other brands to design and manufacture their custom lighting and furniture products. Our industry partners include the most progressive companies in the design, specification, distribution and architectural arenas around the world. Some of the key challenges we’re helping to solve is through our value proposition is being able to take a product concept for a new space, work with the client to refine their specific requirements, prototype samples quickly, certify as needed and roll into mass production in a matter of weeks. This has truly revolutionized the way we go to market and clients realize this. We had a client for example where we developed a custom LED fixture for their global locations, from the time of approval, we were manufacturing 20,000+ units monthly and were able to certify this for 30+ countries in a matter of months. Something that is not the norm. Q: What makes you stand out from your competition? A: We make product customization an easy process. From an idea in your head to an inspiration sample in hand, Ideoli helps its partners design, prototype and mass-produce customized products across multiple industries. We have mastered the process and have accelerated the time it takes from taking an idea in your head, to furnishing your physical locations. We also have a boutique team with a global footprint. With strategic offices in the United States, Asia, South America and Europe, we have a team of invigorators that work together around the clock to provide the solution in product design and manufacturing on another level. Clients are blown away how quickly and professionally we bring their product concepts to life. Q: What are your plans for the future? A: We are continuing to build our international footprint with new offices opening in Argentina, Greece and Vietnam. Our ability to bring products to market is dependent on the global network we have created and continue
