Greetings South Florida! Today we are on site at the client’s new automotive showroom to install a new custom LED light fixture we designed for them. We’re excited to show you the construction zone before the grand opening, so you can see how everything comes together. We have been working with the client to design, prototype and create an inspiring, custom light fixture for this internationally-recognized luxury car brand. Being part of a high-end showroom opening like this is exciting for us at Ideoli. Stay tuned to see the finished showroom and all the expensive cars on display under our products.
When is the last time you visited a library? Don’t be ashamed, us too! We are going to visit the world’s highest library located on the 60th floor of the JW Marriott hotel at Tomorrow Square in Shanghai, China. “In honor of books and bringing us back to the roots, we’re going to visit the world’s tallest library,” says George Stroumboulis, Ideoli CEO and Co-Founder. You have to take a couple elevators to get there and then climb up some steps, but definitely worth the experience. Just how high is that? 230 meters (or 757 feet) above street level. “We’re going up to the 38th floor and then we have to transfer and then go up to the 60th floor to get to the world’s highest library,” says George Stroumboulis, Ideoli CEO and Co-Founder. Opened in November 2003, this library boasts a Guinness World Record and over 100 shelves of Chinese and English books. Get reading, people!
We were founded in New York City, but have zero borders as we grow around the world. Ideoli has added key members to our progressive design team based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. “My name is Matias Samaniego and I’m from Buenos Aires, Argentina,” says Matias, Ideoli’s Graphic Designer. “My name is Vito Nicolas Bonsignore and I’m from Buenos Aires, Argentina,” says Vito, Ideoli’s 3D Renderer. “The office and the footprint we’re building down here in Argentina is crucial to the growth and the aggressive growth that we’re doing as a company globally,” says George Stroumboulis, Ideoli CEO and Co-Founder. Argentina is a melting pot of cultures and talents – you can see that with the team we are building. ”Here in Argentina we have really big backgrounds from painters and drawing. I’ve studied drawing and painting for 15 years,” says Matias. So many people from all walks of life. “I think we get the best of the cultures like passion. We get a lot of watching, you know the sensibility of the different cultures,” says Vito. “We have a team down here that we have hired over the last year and they have been working on the design of the business to be able to support our global efforts,” says George. London is known for Big Ben, Tower of London, Buckingham Palace and Fish & Chips! “We’re sitting here having fish and chips experience. Have you had fish and chips before?” Asks George Stroumboulis, Ideoli CEO and Co-Founder. “I have,” says Chris Hartswick, Ideoli CPO and Co-Founder. “What are your thoughts?” George asks. “I’m not a big fried fish fan,” says Chris. Fun Fact – Over 250 million fish and chip meals are sold each year in the UK alone. George what do you think of fish and chips? “This is what we are going to eat. Typically, if you fry anything it taste good. So it’s probably going to taste decent,” says George. “Absolutely. What could go wrong?” says Chris. Eat up lads… and enjoy a pint of beer, too!
The people that work for Ideoli are Rockstars – literally! Vito is a talented designer for Ideoli, but he is also a talented musician based in Argentina. “It’s kind of crazy because I never studied music. Once my father just bought me a guitar when I was 19 years old. And the way I learned was looking at pictures,” says Vito, Ideoli’s 3D Renderer. Self-taught, eh? Tell us more, Vito! “My passion started to grow up there and luckily, I met a lot of good musicians in the way I formed a band. We played with a lot of good known people here. I played on big avenues, I played for the radios. We made some records. Also, I had the honor to play with the most well-known musicians in Argentina,” says Vito. We often hear about these stereotypes regarding japan, but do we agree? “So, all the stereotypes about Japan that I’ve experienced so far are absolutely true. People are absolutely respectful; the country and city of Tokyo is spotless,” says George, Ideoli CEO and Co-Founder. Well, if our first professional visit to the city of Tokyo is any indication, these stereotypes are spot on. “It’s unbelievably well organized with tens of millions of people just functioning and respecting each other’s space. It’s pretty phenomenal,” says George, Ideoli CEO and Co-Founder. Keep being awesome, Japan!
One of the longest flights in the world is from Los Angeles to Singapore. Over 17 hours! “Just landed after a 17 hour flight. One of the top 3 longest flights in the world from LAX to Singapore,” says George Stroumboulis, Ideoli CEO and Co-Founder. Nearly 9,000 miles covered in that time. That is simply insane! “Really, really long flight. Really, really good flight. Just catching up on a lot of stuff right now,” says George. It’s a small world, after all.
We make amazing products for our clients. To ensure this amazingness, we have a dedicated Quality Control team to oversee this – from design, to prototype, to production, to delivery. Our Senior Applications Engineer is on site at every major production run to oversee Ideoli’s production lines. He also coordinates the on-site review at the client’s installation sites. Tell us a bit more, Armando… “We start the QC process as soon as we finalize our drawings and we start ordering parts for production.” Armando has a team of dedicated professionals that help oversee the entire QC process. “We are always on site when the product is installed. We like to oversee the whole process from start to finish. We pride ourselves on how dedicated we are to quality.” “The best part about my position is seeing the product in the early stages and seeing it get finalized in the install location. It’s all about quality control and being there every step of the process for our clients.” We’re off to oversee the next installation!
