Board advisor travels to Greece to meet with Ideoli’s expanding design team

From the New York Stock Exchange in Manhattan to the Art Gallery of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, Greek design influence has made a mark on the world for thousands of years. With Ideoli’s senior team having a strong network in Greece, it only makes sense to seek inspiration from the country and its people as part of our creative design process.

Robert W. Peck (pictured on the right), a member of Ideoli’s Board of Advisors and the former Ambassador of Canada and Greece, recently traveled to Greece and met with Ideoli’s Product Invigorator, Georgios Mavridis (pictured on the left).

Ideoli’s Board of Advisors have tremendous international experience and influence, and we count on their guidance. For example, on Peck’s recent business trip to Greece, he met up with our Product Invigorator, Georgios Mavridis, in the heart of Athens. Mavridis lives in the north of Greece in the city of Thessaloniki and is responsible for supporting the design and engineering efforts under Chris Hartswick, CPO of Ideoli. When Mavridis and Peck met, they reviewed ongoing projects and discussed the possible expansion of the company’s design team with a hub in Greece, engaging key talents from the highly skilled local market. Doing so will increase Ideoli’s ability to deliver best-in-class designs for our clients while incorporating European design flare.

“I’m honored to guide Ideoli’s talent expansion in a market I know very well from my public service days. Greece is a country with a lot of promise and one I have thoroughly enjoyed working with,” says Robert W. Peck, member of Ideoli’s Board of Advisors and the former Ambassador of Canada and Greece.

“In addition to delivering the best -in-class service for our clients, the proposed design hub in Greece will provide quality job opportunities for locals, while helping contribute to the recovery of the Greek economy from abroad,” says George Stroumboulis, CEO of Ideoli.

The meeting between Peck and Mavridis brings Ideoli one step closer to launching a true design hub in Greece. “We are extremely encouraged with the level of quality work we are getting out of Greece and look forward to building this team,” says Chris Hartswick, CPO of Ideoli.
