Ideoli Opens Offices For Strategic Sourcing In Shanghai
New York, December 01, 2015 – Custom fixtures and furnishings company Ideoli has opened new offices and an assembly factory in Shanghai in order to develop a strong footprint in the strategic manufacturing market of China.
China is strategic to Ideoli’s business model because it is the manufacturing center to the world, and Ideoli’s Co-Founders George Stroumboulis and Chris Hartswick have decided to establish footprints in key markets around the world to allow for a targeted approach when producing and creating custom products for their clients.
Ideoli is able to use its Shanghai facilities, launched at the end of 2015, along with its strong network of subcontractors, to maintain full control of the manufacturing cycle, starting from incoming component inspection to final quality control.
“When it comes to manufacturing, two of the biggest concerns are the quality of the product and making sure you can deliver the product on time,” says Chris Hartswick, Ideoli’s Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer. “That’s why we’ve built an experienced team of project managers, engineers and logistics professionals to ensure that we can manage these concerns on the ground.
Ideoli’s leadership has been embedded in manufacturing in Asia for nearly a decade, establishing strong relationships with key people in the area, setting up dozens of factories and overseeing the efficient production for hundreds of thousands of lighting and related products.
With its local operations in Shanghai, ideoli has decreased the overall production turnaround time from start to finish.
“We pride ourselves on how quickly we can take a new product idea, generate physical samples, get customer approval and move into full production – all in a matter of weeks,” says George Stroumboulis, Ideoli’s Co-Founder and CEO.
