Our pursuit of international markets – Vietnam
Ideoli’s founders, George Stroumboulis and Chris Hartswick, recently took a trip to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, to look for the strongest partners to work with and the latest products to consider for our clients.
We see Vietnam is really in a strong position now with the TPP—Trans Pacific Partnership—including the USA, Canada, Japan, Australia, and about 40% of the world economy,” says Thomas, a Danish native, working in the Vietnamese manufacturing industry and helping Ideoli better integrate into the local business climate. According to Thomas, Vietnam is positioned to be a production base for these other countries, as one to two million young people get into the job market every year in this country, meaning there is enough labor supply to take on an increase in manufacturing. After inspecting several factories in Vietnam, we gained an appreciation for the attention to detail and advanced manufacturing capabilities these companies have.
“The quality of products coming out of Vietnam has increased a lot. Over the last 20 years, there has been a strong development in the wood furniture business here. It’s a very dynamic environment where new things are developed continuously,” adds Thomas. We’re excited to expand Ideoli’s footprint to Vietnam to be a part of this growth environment and look forward to providing our clients with more high-quality products.
Passionately seeking out the best international markets—it’s the Ideoli way.
